Objective and Focus Areas

This division deals with capacity building, which is achieved through the process of learning and working based on the needs of the organization. It is constantly involved in undertaking activities such as conducting trainings, webinars and workshops to staff, students and stakeholders. The division spreads awareness of the role of GIS in planning and decision making in different spheres of development. It also sends staff for external trainings as suggested by the respective divisional heads. The division shares information related to latest trends, developments and research done in the field of GIS, GPS & Remote Sensing. This is done for strengthening existing and upcoming projects.
